...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL JEROME COUNTY THROUGH 530
PM MDT...

At 453 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Minidoka National Monument, or 15 miles east of
Jerome, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust possible. Minor
         damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hazelton, Eden, and Minidoka National Monument.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
