The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Malheur County in southeastern Oregon...

* Until 715 PM PDT.

* At 627 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Crooked Creek
  State Park, or 9 miles west of Rome, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Iron Point, Sacramento Butte, Crooked Creek State Park, Coffeepot
  Crater, Owyhee Butte, and Saddle Butte Lava Tube.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Strong wind gusts can produce sudden drops in visibility down to
half a mile due to blowing dust.

When safe to do so, please relay storm reports to the National
Weather Service in Boise via local law enforcement, or National
Weather Service Boise Facebook and Twitter accounts.
