The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Douglas County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 600 PM MDT.

* At 306 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches,
           roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Western Castle Rock, Parker, Castle Pines and Perry Park.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  East Plum Creek, Dry Gulch, Cherry Creek, Jackson Creek, Watson
  Park Creek, Happy Canyon Creek, Newlin Gulch, Gove Creek, Spring
  Creek, Plum Creek, Bear Creek and Garber Creek.
