.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...Skies will clear tonight as
drier air aloft moves into the area. Temperatures will be warmer
on Wednesday. It will become breezy in the mountains and near the
eastern border. Near critical fire weather conditions are expected
for a few hours in the mountains below 9000 feet.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...
Thursday will be slightly warmer. Humidities will be low over the
plains, with increasing moisture in the mountains, with isolated
showers possible Thursday night. For Friday through Sunday,
scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over the
mountains with generally light precipitation. Little or no
precipitation is expected east of the mountains. It will be breezy
at times, but humidities will be higher.
