.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Tuesday...
Scattered showers and storms will continue through early this and
evening across the region, with the best chances over the mountains
and far southeast CO plains. Gusts up to 30-40 mph will still be
possible with the strongest showers. A cold front will push through
the plains between 2300 and 0200 MDT bringing breezy northerly winds
(15-20 mph) through the early morning hours.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday night through Saturday...
Cooler temperatures and higher humidity levels can be expected in
all areas Tuesday. There will be scattered shower and storm coverage
most days this week, but the the most widespread coverage and
potential for wetting rains is now expected to be Thursday possibly
lasting into Friday. No critical fire weather conditions are
anticipated. Cooler temperatures likely persist through next week.
