.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Sunday...Snow showers are forecast
across the high country tonight into tomorrow, with snow also
expected east of I-25 this afternoon. Continued cloud cover and
below cooler weather is forecast again on Sunday with highs
generally in the 20s across the forecast area. Fair to good smoke
dispersal is expected across the higher elevations. Stratus, weak
winds, and shallow mixing heights will limit dispersal over the
plains.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Sunday night through Thursday...Another
storm system is expected to bring additional accumulating snow to
the Front Range and urban corridor late Monday night into Tuesday.
Below normal temperatures will continue through most of next week
as well. Smoke dispersal is forecast to be poor for most of the
region on Monday.
