.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Saturday...
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected each
afternoon and evening through Wednesday. The main hazards with any
storms this week will be heavy rainfall and gusty, erratic winds.
Temperatures will be closer to normal this work week, with highs
generally in the 90s across the plains. Relative humidities today
are expected to remain above 20%, with RHs remaining above 30%
for Tuesday and Wednesday. Conditions will start to dry out
Thursday into the weekend, but critical fire weather conditions
are not expected (lower RHs and stronger winds are not forecast to
overlap).
