.DISCUSSION...Today through Saturday...
Tuesday will see isolated coverage of showers and thunderstorms, generally
weak with limited or very localized wetting rain. Moisture will increase
Wednesday into Thursday, resulting in greater coverage of precipitation and
potential for localized moderate to heavy rain. Conditions will trend drier
again nearing the weekend, but daily precipitation chances will remain
non-zero.
Light winds this week and elevated humidity levels will keep fire weather
concerns limited through the period. Given the trend towards increased
cloud cover and precipitation potential Wednesday and Thursday, smoke
dispersal conditions are now forecast to be Poor both days, with the rest
of the period favoring a few hours of Fair to Very Good dispersal each
afternoon in the high country.
