.DISCUSSION...Rest of today through Wednesday...Quiet conditions
are expected through the rest of the day today, with light winds.
Humidity is expected to remain above 40% across the forecast area.
Overnight humidity should recover to 90-100% tonight. Moisture is
expected to lift northward into our forecast area during the day
on Wednesday, leading to widespread rainfall. The best chance of
significant rainfall remains east of I-25 and along/south of I-70.
Cooler temperatures are also forecast Wednesday.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...Showers
will continue through Wednesday night before ending Thursday
morning as the storm system departs. A warming and drying trend is
likely for the latter half of the week into next weekend, with
above normal temperatures returning to the region. Still, weak
winds are forecast most days along with relative humidity above
20%, meaning no critical fire weather conditions are expected.
