.DISCUSSION...Rest of today through Saturday...
Above-normal temperatures are expected today and Saturday, with
scattered high-based showers and storms capable of producing gusty
outflows/microbursts each afternoon. Flow aloft is expected to
bring some gusty winds (25-30 mph) into North Park both days that
will lead to elevated fire weather conditions, but RH is expected
to remain above critical thresholds. Overnight recoveries are
expected to be Fair to Excellent tonight outside of the foothills,
where Poor recoveries are expected.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday night through Wednesday...
Scattered afternoon showers/storms are expected each afternoon
through Monday, as elevated moisture is expected to remain across
the region. Monday will bring our best chance for wetting rains
before a drying trend is expected from Tuesday onward. No critical
fire weather conditions are expected through midweek.
