.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...
Dry conditions are expected today and tonight. Although relative
humidities drop to 17-22 percent along the eastern plains, winds
remain light under 10-13 mph this afternoon. Smoke dispersal reaches good to
excellent conditions for majority of the forecast area today.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday through Friday...Warm and dry
conditions will continue through the week. Daytime humidity values
should fall to around 20 percent each day, but winds will be light
underneath a strong upper level ridge. Poor to good smoke
dispersal is forecast each day, though it looks as if Friday will
see the best dispersal across the forecast area.
