.DISCUSSION...Rest of today through Tuesday...
Warm temperatures expected today and tomorrow, with highs in the
mid/upper 90s. With moisture increasing across the region, higher
relative humidities are expected. Today, afternoon showers and
thunderstorms will occur, with dry lightning and gusty outflow winds
as the main concern. Wind gusts of 30-45 mph is possible, with
localized stronger gusts associated with the strongest storms.
Similar conditions expected on Tuesday.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday night through Saturday...
Relatively cooler conditions and increased chances in precipitation
are likely starting Wednesday and into the weekend. Thursday looks
to be the best chance for widespread rainfall, however storms are
possible each day. Numerous showers and thunderstorms could bring
localized flooding concerns for burn scars and the plains.
