.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...
Monsoon moisture will bring another round of widespread showers
and thunderstorms for the high terrain and plains this afternoon
and evening. Localized heavy rainfall is possible, particularly
for the burn scars and areas along and east of the I-25 Corridor.
Overnight humidity recoveries will be excellent across the region.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday through Sunday...
A warming and drying trend will begin Thursday and continue into
the weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms still possible
Thursday and Friday, however coverage will be limited. Relative
humidity values are expected to dip below 20% for portions of the
northern mountains and mountain valleys by the weekend. However
winds should remain relatively light (<25 mph).
