.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Monday...Hot and dry weather is expected
again on Monday. Minimum humidity values should fall to around 15%
across the lower elevations with 15-30% RH likely for the higher
elevations. Light winds are forecast across the region. Smoke
dispersal should be good to excellent across the entirety of the
forecast area. Isolated to scattered high-based showers could
produce strong gusty winds at times in the afternoon, mainly
across the high country.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday night through Friday...Upper level
high will continue with the very warm conditions Tuesday. Better
moisture arrives for Wednesday and Thursday with increased chances
for showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall and slightly
cooler temperatures. Other than gusty winds associated with the
showers and thunderstorms, winds will generally be on the light
side.
