.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Remnants from Hurricane Polo
lift northeastward across the region today. Widespread rain will
be over the southern half of Colorado today with numerous rain
showers expect as far north as I-70. Even though rain will be
light and scattered north of I-70, the airmass will still be
moist. Rain lingers into the early evening and starts to end from
west to east tonight.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday through Sunday...Rain ends over
the eastern plains Thursday morning. After this, a warming and
drying trend will prevail for the latter half of the week into
the weekend, with above normal temperatures returning to the
region. High pressure aloft over the region will result in weak
winds most/all days. No critical fire weather conditions are
expected.
