.DISCUSSION...Rest of today through Tuesday...Warmer and drier
conditions are forecast today with light winds. Relative humidity
values are expected to drop to around 15-25% across most of the
high country and I-25 corridor. A couple of showers or
thunderstorms are possible across the plains this afternoon
though wetting rain chances are low. A weak cold front is expected
to move through the lower elevations around midday Tuesday. The
slight increase in moisture behind it should allow for widely
scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday night through Saturday...Near to
above normal temperatures are forecast through the rest of the
week. Winds are expected to remain weak and humidity values should
remain above critical thresholds through the period.
