.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Sunday...
Diminishing snow in the mountains, but occasional light showers will
continue. Strong winds will persist across the higher terrain.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Sunday night through Thursday...
Breezy conditions will be fairly consistent across the higher elevations
through Monday, and likely extending into the plains and urban corridor
Tuesday onwards. This will keep smoke dispersal conditions quite favorable
for most areas each afternoon. Apart from a few light mountain snow showers,
mostly dry conditions are favored through Tuesday. Precipitation potential
is rising for Wednesday and Thursday, especially for our mountains, with
another round of widespread snow possible (~65% chance). Confidence in
precipitation for the plains is lower, but also rising slightly.
