.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Thursday...
Thursday will be the beginning of the significant warmup with
highs in the mid 90s across the plains. Minimum relative humidity
will be in the low teens across the plains but with green fuels,
no highlights will be issued at this time. There will be very good
smoke dispersal.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday night through Monday...
The worst of the heat will be Friday and Saturday as highs will be in
the 100s across the plains. Minimum relative humidity will drop
to the teens and single digits with gusts exceeding 30 mph.
As mentioned in previous discussions, the fuels are green and not
in critical status so fire weather highlights will be avoided.
Otherwise, smoke dispersal will be excellent. Cooler and wetter
weather is expected beginning next work week and perhaps as soon
as Sunday.
