.DISCUSSION...Rest of today through Tuesday...
Hot temperatures expected to continue into the beginning of next
week. Increase in moisture each day will lead to high relative
humidity values and increased coverage of showers.
Today, virga showers/thunderstorms expected through the early
evening, with dry lightning and erratic outflows as the main
threat. Wind gust of 40-45 mph with isolated stronger possible.
Similar conditions expected Monday and Tuesday.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday night through Friday...
The weather pattern will change beginning Wednesday, as monsoonal
moisture arrives. Shower and thunderstorm coverage will become
more widespread across the region, particularly Thursday and
Friday. Localized flooding could become a concern. Higher relative
humidity values and cooler temperatures will follow as well.
