No fire weather concerns today as scattered afternoon and evening
showers and thunderstorms return, with isolated heavy rain and
elevated humidity levels. Winds will remain light outside of brief
gusty outflows from any convection.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday through Tuesday...
Thunderstorms will be more widespread Saturday over the plains and
urban corridor with locally heavy rain, while the mountains will
begin to dry out. All areas will see decreasing coverage of showers
and storms Sunday into Monday, with slightly cooler conditions and
limited fire weather concerns given moderate humidity levels and
mostly light winds.
