.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Tuesday...
More hot temperatures are expected on Tuesday that will lead to
some elevated fire weather conditions developing in North Park,
where low relative humidity in the mid-teens is expected.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday night through Saturday...
A storm system will increase moisture across the forecast area on
Wednesday as widespread showers and storms are expected.
Temperatures will be cooler through Friday, with highs in the 80s
across the lower elevations. By Friday, another warming trend will
begin with afternoon high temperatures expected to be in the 90s
for the foreseeable future. Afternoon showers and storms will be
possible across the forecast area through the weekend, that will
bring the chance for lightning strikes. The moisture will help
keep RH values above critical thresholds through the long term
period.
