.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...
Wednesday will be relatively cool with light winds. No critical
fire weather conditions are expected. Smoke dispersal will be fair
to good across most of the area.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...
A significant warmup will begin Thursday and will last through
the weekend. Friday and Saturday will have highs in the 100s
across the plains. Minimum relative humidity will drop to the
teens and gusts will exceed 30 mph. Luckily, the fuels are green
and not in critical status so fire weather highlights will be
avoided. Otherwise, smoke dispersal will be excellent. Cooler and
wetter weather is expected beginning next work week.
