.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...Thunderstorms are expected
to bring decent moisture to much of the forecast area this
afternoon and evening. Another round of afternoon showers and
storms are expected for Wednesday as well. With increased moisture
and a few days of below normal temperatures to begin the week, no
critical fire weather conditions are expected.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...A warmer
and drier trend is expected by Thursday, which should continue
into the weekend. There may be enough moisture for a few weak
showers and storms across the Front Range each afternoon, but
chances of wetting precipitation will be very low. Temperatures
should return to above normal values for the latter half of the
week. Minimum RH values should approach critical thresholds,
though winds will be light enough to avoid widespread
elevated/critical fire weather conditions. Good or very good smoke
dispersal is expected most days.
