.DISCUSSION...Rest of today through Saturday...
Hot temperatures and mostly dry conditions should prevail through
the weekend. This afternoon, weak virga showers are possible
(10-15% chance) that could produce erratic winds gusts of 40 mph.
Overnight humidity recoveries will range from 25-45% for the
mountains and valleys (better across the plains). For Saturday,
hotter temperatures are expected, with low RH and gusts of 20-25
mph. Northern mountains and North Park could see isolated gusts
of 30 mph, but should be short in duration. Afternoon virga
showers could produce erratic wind gusts of 45 mph.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday night through Wednesday...
With a slight increase in moisture, RH values will see slight
improvement over the high terrain, ranging from 15-25% (less in
the plains). Sunday will see better chances for virga showers
mainly over the mountains, but a few could spill onto the plains.
Warm temperatures will continue into next week, with chances of
precipitation increasing for the mountains towards
Tuesday/Wednesday.
