.DISCUSSION...Tonight through Sunday...
Despite having drier conditions in place for the next few days,
overnight recoveries should remain decent for the majority of the
forecast area. Only places that will have lower recoveries will be
along the foothills of the Front Range where they will only see
40-50%. With temperatures expected to heat up through Thursday,
should see some patchy areas of elevated fire weather conditions
due to low RH in the low teens, but the winds are still expected
to stay light under the ridge, so critical fire weather conditions
are not anticipated to develop.
A pattern change will begin on Friday with the arrival of a cold
front. Moisture will begin to increase and there will be daily
chances of precipitation each day across the forecast area as
increasing northwesterly flow develops. Could see some heavy
rains as PWAT values increase to 140-170% of normal by Saturday.
