.DISCUSSION... Current radar shows a line of thunderstorms
approaching this location from the west. Frequent lightning is
observed with these storms, and the chance for thunderstorms will
continue (~70% chance) through 2100. Current observations indicate
winds are fairly variable, with a slightly more southeasterly
component. Gusts to around 15 mph are currently observed, but with
the onset of the oncoming storms, expecting winds to become gusty
westerly with observation just upstream of this location showing
35-40 mph gusts. Relative humidity is around 30-40% and expected
to increase with the approaching storms. Overnight temperatures
are expected to drop into the upper 40s to low 50s. A few showers
may linger past 2100 (until around 2300), though lightning
concerns are expected to lower significantly after 2100. Gusty and
variable winds will still be a concern with any passing showers.
Winds are expected to settle into a westerly to northwesterly
component for the overnight hours, with light wind speeds expected
to remain under 10 mph.

For Thursday, light and variable winds are expected through the
morning, becoming southeasterly around 1000, with a gradual
increase in wind gust speeds between 10-15 mph by 1200. Winds are
expected to maintain a southeasterly to easterly component through
the afternoon outside of any passing showers/storms. Shower
chances will increase around 0900, with thunderstorms likely by
1200-1300. Storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall
tomorrow, with a 70-90% chance of wetting rains expected through
the afternoon.
