.DISCUSSION...

Current observations near the area show winds generally from the
west/northwest of 5-10 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph at times.
Expect this to continue through the overnight hours. No
precipitation is expected. Overnight temperatures should get down
to the mid-40s.

For Tuesday, westerly winds should slightly increase by late
morning, with gusts of 20-25 mph possible. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms will begin (30-40% chance) by the early afternoon
and likely continue into the evening hours. Lightning and erratic
gusts of 30-40 mph will be the main concerns. With instability
decreasing after sunset, thunderstorm activity will subside, but
rain showers are still possible Tuesday night.
