.DISCUSSION...
Monday is still shaping up to be quite warm and dry with
temperatures in the low 80s and minimum humidities around 20%. Winds
will likely pick up in the afternoon with 20 mph gusts possible
throughout the day due to higher wind speeds aloft mixing down to
the surface. While some questions remain regarding the timing of a
cold front, we do not expect any major impacts from the front other
than brief push of northerly winds. Smoke dispersal should be fair
to good in the afternoon.
Uncertainty enters the picture late Tuesday night into Wednesday due
to an approaching weather system and the arrival of cooler air.
Temperatures will be be cooler on Wednesday with highs in the mid
60s. Due to the cooler airmass in place and increasing moisture,
afternoon humidities would be higher, in the 30-40% range. There
will likely at least be a chance for some isolated showers in the
area. Smoke dispersal looks to be poor on Wednesday.
