.DISCUSSION...

.REST OF TONIGHT... Current radar shows showers are currently
passing over the SAR location. Observations are very sparse
outside of some webcams in Jackson County that show a few more
high-based showers headed towards your location. Fortunately, no
lightning is associated with these showers, but expect some gusty
outflows and light precipitation as they move over. Precipitation
chances should end after this next round passes over, within the
next hour or so. Temperatures are expected to drop into the low
40s overnight tonight. Winds are expected to be light and variable
through the overnight hours (after any passing showers move over).
Afternoon showers and storms will be possible after around 1200 on
Friday. Expecting things to initiate over the higher peaks around
RMNP that may not be directly over this location, but could see
lightning within 20 miles starting around 1200, with increasing
chances for closer impacts after 1400 through the early evening.
Wind gusts will increase (15-20 mph) after 1300/1400 and may
increase to 35-40 mph with any passing showers or storms.
Afternoon high temps are expected to reach the low 70s.
