.DISCUSSION...We`ll start the day with mostly sunny skies and
moderate inversions. Those inversions should start to break toward
11 am, with sufficient heating and mixing due to sunshine and
relatively mild temperatures. We expect a few hours of fair smoke
dispersion from 1200-1600, before inversions start to form again.
Only light west winds can be anticipated during the window of fair
smoke dispersion, as flow aloft has weakened since yesterday.
Friday will feature thickening clouds and development of snow. So,
despite poor mixing, falling snow is expected to alleviate smoke
dispersal. Snow most likely develops between 1100 and 1300
Friday. Temperatures will be a little colder with generally light
west winds.
