.DISCUSSION...
Light rain showers are ongoing across the high terrain, with a
10-15% chance of an isolated shower occurring over the burn area
this morning. If this does happen, only a trace at most is
expected. A system will bring increased precipitation chances to
the area (50-60% chance) Sunday night through Monday night, with
temperatures supporting rainfall and possibly rain/snow mix Monday
night. There is some uncertainty with precipitation amounts, with
a 40-50% chance of rainfall amounts >0.10 inches.
For Tuesday, as the system exits our area, it will be breezy in
the morning with 20-ft westerly winds gusting up to 20-30 mph
(reduction factor would put the gusts up to 8-12 mph). However,
weaker westerly winds are expected by the afternoon, with speeds
under 7-10 mph. However, with the weaker winds, smoke dispersal
conditions may only be Marginal at best. Moisture will still be
lingering in the area, so minimum RH values should remain above
30%.
