.DISCUSSION...Current thunderstorm about 3 miles south of
prescribed burn area has been producing numerous lightning
strikes. As this storm travels southeast, gusty erratic outflow
winds are expected up to 30 mph. Chances of thunderstorms will
continue through the afternoon, with the best timeframe being now
through 5 PM. Lightning strikes, hail, and erratic wind gusts up
to 40 mph are possible. Minimum relative humidity values will be
above 30% for the day with generally light NE winds outside of
thunderstorms.
Tomorrow, temperatures will begin to rise again up to the mid to
high 70s. Drier conditions are expected, with minimum relative
humidity values just above 20% and easterly winds between 10-15
mph in the afternoon. A warming and drying trend will continue
Thursday and into the weekend, with temperatures expected to get
up to the high 80s.
