.DISCUSSION...Friday will be hot with much above normal
temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 90s. Mostly sunny skies
will prevail through early afternoon, but then a risk of high
based showers or an isolated thunderstorm will enter the picture
between 1 and 6 pm. Any of these will produce more wind than rain,
with sudden shifting wind gusts up to 40-50 mph. The chances of
the very strong winds or lightning occurring within 10 miles of the
event will be around 20% at your location, but a 50-60% chance
that gusts up to 30 mph will occur at some point during the
afternoon.
