This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Patchy dense fog will persist along and north of I-76 through late
morning. This afternoon, southerly winds will increase, with
gusts to 40 mph becoming widespread on the plains south of
I-76 and the mountains south of I-70. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms
may produce wind gusts up to 70 mph. Tonight there will be rain
and snow showers in the mountains, with snow levels lowering to
between 8 and 9 thousand feet. Any snow accumulations will be less
than 2 inches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Patchy frost will be possible in colder plains locations starting
Friday morning, with more widespread frost or freezing
temperatures starting Sunday morning. There will be another chance
of rain and snow showers in the mountains Saturday, and then a
chance of mountain snow and plains rain on Monday or Tuesday.
