This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Winds will increase Saturday, with gusts to 30-40 mph over the
plains and high mountain valleys by afternoon. Lighter winds will
likely persist in the Boulder to Fort Collins corridor. There
will be a threat of a couple severe thunderstorms over the
northeast plains in the late afternoon and evening, with strong
outflow winds to around 60 mph possible.

With the winds will also come elevated fire weather conditions.

Mountain areas will see mainly snow showers by Saturday night,
bu only light snow accumulations (less than 2 inches) expected.

A chance of showers will linger through early next week, along
with cooler and below normal temperatures. Drier and warmer weather
will return for the latter portions of next week.
