For areas south of I-70, snow may linger into the early evening. Additional snowfall of up to 3 inches will be possible, heaviest in the southern foothills and over the Palmer Divide. Travel will continue to be slow and hazardous today, with possible deteriorating conditions towards sunset as temperatures fall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday A warming trend will begin on Thursday and continue through the long term period. Additional waves of mountain snow are expected beginning Thursday night, with a more pronounced uptick in accumulations starting late Friday night and Saturday. Expect some slick conditions if traveling in the mountains through Saturday, especially for mountain passes.
