* WHAT...Temperatures in the mid to upper 90s this afternoon.

* WHERE...Boulder and the western suburbs of Denver.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. If you must be
outdoors, take frequent breaks from work or activities. Move into
shaded areas or air conditioned buildings.
