...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN LINCOLN COUNTY
UNTIL 530 PM MDT...
At 456 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Genoa to 9 miles northeast of
Karval, or extending from 6 miles east of Limon to 35 miles southeast
of Limon, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hugo, Arriba, Genoa and Boyero.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Heavy rain is occurring with these storms and may lead to flooding.
