...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ELBERT COUNTY UNTIL
1115 PM MDT...

At 1025 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southeast of Kiowa, or 38 miles west of Limon, moving northeast
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Kiowa and Fondis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
