The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Sedgwick County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 700 PM MDT.

* At 611 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  near Barton to 8 miles northwest of Sedgwick, or along a line from
  6 miles northeast of Julesburg to 12 miles southwest of Chappell,
  moving south at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Julesburg, Ovid and Sedgwick.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
