The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East Central Washington County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 730 PM MDT.

* At 719 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles north of
  Cope, or 32 miles southeast of Akron, moving east at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of East Central Washington County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek
shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure.
