The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Washington County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 745 PM MDT.

* At 707 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  5 miles northwest of Burdett to 7 miles southeast of Elba, or along
  a line from 17 miles southeast of Sterling to 19 miles south of
  Akron, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Otis, Burdett, Lone Star and Hyde.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
