VFR conditions are expected to prevail through the TAF period.
Day cloud phase satellite shows a small patch of cumulus near
DEN/APA, with cloud bases somewhere between 2-4kft AGL. While a
FEW-SCT deck may continue for a couple more hours, guidance
generally lifts/dries out any remaining boundary layer moisture.
Winds should remain light today with a prevailing direction out of
the east.
Winds should slowly turn clockwise this afternoon and evening
before settling on drainage overnight tonight... before weakening
and becoming more variable Tuesday morning. Depending on how much
surface moisture/instability is available in the afternoon, there
could be a few showers or thunderstorms near the terminals by
mid/late afternoon Tuesday. Instability looks weak enough to only
carry a PROB30 for SHRA at this time.

Moist low level upslope flow will continue across the plains
into the overnight hours, and will likely allow for MVFR/IFR
stratus to develop once again at COS and PUB through the late
evening and into the overnight hours. In addition increasing
moisture within the modest southwest flow aloft and waa will
help to develop showers across the plains overnight, with COS
seeing the best chances of seeing IFR conditions in light rain
and fog into early Tuesday morning.
VFR conditions and light diurnal wind regimes are expected at
ALS through the taf period.

KSLC...VFR conditions will prevail at the KSLC terminal through the
entire forecast period. Light northwesterly will persist at the
terminal before switching to diurnally-driven light southeasterly
flow around 4Z. The chances of some showers and perhaps some
thunderstorms will increase tomorrow between 10-18Z, although the
exact placement of those showers or storms remain uncertain.
REST OF UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING...VFR conditions are expected to
persist across all terminals through the TAF period with diurnal
wind shifts. Showers will continue to impact the southern terminals
this afternoon into the evening but impacts will be limited. More
showers and thunderstorms might develop this evening in southwestern
Utah and propagate north into central and northern Utah.

VFR conditions expected through the period. Some high-level clouds
will pass through during the day, but should otherwise remain mostly
clear. Winds follow typical diurnal trends, decreasing this evening.
Higher level clouds begin to move in from the southwest late in the
period ahead of the next weather system.
One area of low confidence is fog tonight. KJAC could see fog,
similar to the last couple nights. However, models are not depicting
much, if any, fog, so have left out of the TAF for now. Likewise,
KCPR could see some low clouds move in overnight, mostly a result of
a northerly wind push; should the wind be less from the north,
chances of low clouds decreases.

Some low clouds around FL020 are stubbornly sticking around KCDR at
this time as northerly upslope flow prevails along the Pine Ridge.
KAIA is also slow to clear out this morning, however do expect some
increasing cloud bases from visible satellite trends and surface
dewpoint depressions beginning to increase. For the other terminals,
VFR should prevail for the remainder of the afternoon with light and
variable winds, generally out of the NW. This evening into the
overnight hours, low-level moistening will occur again, primarily
for the Nebraska terminals, which will result in IFR cigs. Included
BR in the prevailing conditions for these terminals as confidence is
high, but stuck with a TEMPO group for KBFF where confidence and
coverage in fog is lower.

Mid level to low cigs will stick around through the remainder
of the afternoon across portions of the northern Sandhills into
north central Nebraska and portions of the Sandhills with some
locations seeing MVFR to IFR conditions. Scattered light rain
showers will also be possible this afternoon. Tonight cigs will
lower across all of western and north central Nebraska, with IFR
or lower conditions. There will also be patchy fog across the
northern Sandhills, including KVTN terminal, at this time
confidence in fog development further south into KLBF terminal
remains uncertain, due to the lower confidence, have left the
mention out of the tafs for this forecast.

Winds vary at this time from gentle to moderate northerly winds
at KGLD and light northwesterly at KMCK, likely to persist into
this evening, becoming light and/or variable overnight tonight.
Scattered VFR skies persist, with IFR ceilings developing late
tonight, possibly lowering to LIFR tomorrow morning when patchy
fog could briefly drop visibilities down to 4-5 SM within the
hours surrounding sunrise. Otherwise, moderate southeasterly
winds return by the afternoon, with gusts to 20-25+ knots.

turn southeasterly 5 to 15kt generally after 05-07Z as a broad
surface continues to edge eastward through the Great Lakes.

Low clouds have finally cleared out of all TAF sites and VFR
conditions are expected through the rest of Monday. Breezy winds
from the northeast are forecast to continue at KAMA this
afternoon. All sites will host light, easterly winds by this
evening. Thunderstorm chances are too low at all sites to include
mentions of thunder. Amendments, or mentions in future issuances,
will be made if an isolated cell can develop over any of the
terminals tonight or tomorrow morning. Model signals are pointing
to another round of low level clouds tomorrow morning at all TAF
sites. Confidence is low on what time these clouds will develop,
but chances for MVFR and IFR ceilings Tuesday morning are on the
rise.

Except for areas of MVFR cigs behind a backdoor front across east
central and northeast NM, VFR conditions prevail and are forecast
to persist into this evening. Development and gradual lowering of
VFR cigs are forecast overnight into Tuesday across central and
western NM. Low stratus/fog is likely early Tuesday morning behind
the backdoor front, likely impacting KSAF and KROW with MVFR cigs.
The backdoor front will create a gusty east canyon wind at KABQ
overnight, but speeds are forecast to remain below Airport Weather
Warning criteria at this time.
