MST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations between 5 and 11 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50
  mph.

* WHERE...Grand and Summit Counties Below 9000 Feet.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 11 PM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Snow and blowing snow could reduce visibility to a
  quarter mile or less. Travel could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
Colorado can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or by going to

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
11 PM MST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow
  accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40
  mph. For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow and blowing snow
  expected. Total snow accumulations between 12 and 24 inches, with
  isolated totals up to 30 inches possible. Winds gusting as high as
  65 mph.

* WHERE...Rabbit Ears Pass.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 11 PM MST this
  evening. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 11 PM this evening to
  11 PM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible. Widespread
  blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected to fall late
  tonight through the first half of Saturday. Significant blowing
  snow is expected as winds increase late Saturday morning into
  Saturday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

It is strongly recommended to alter travel plans in the northern
Colorado mountains Friday night through Saturday night. If you must
travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in

* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations between 7 and 15 inches, with isolated totals up to
  20 inches possible. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

* WHERE...Rocky Mountain National Park and the Medicine Bow Range,
  and The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range, and the
  Indian Peaks.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 11 PM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Snow and blowing snow will reduce visibility to a quarter
  mile or less. Near blizzard conditions are possible, especially
  Saturday morning. Travel will be very difficult to impossible, with
  road closures possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected to fall late
  tonight through the first half of Saturday, with light to moderate
  snow Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. Significant blowing
  snow is expected as winds increase late Saturday morning into
  Saturday afternoon.
