Flood Warning for the following rivers in Connecticut...

  Connecticut River At Middle Haddam affecting Middlesex County.

For the Connecticut River...including Montague, Northampton, Holyoke
Dam, Holyoke, Springfield, Thompsonville, Hartford, Middle Haddam...
Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO LATE FRIDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Connecticut River at Middle Haddam.

* WHEN...From this morning to late Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Flooding is expected in low lying sections
  along the Connecticut River from Wethersfield and Glastonbury
  downstream through Cromwell, Middletown and Portland. Boating
  interests should prepare for a period of swift river flows.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:55 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 6.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
    morning to 7.7 feet late tonight. It will then fall tomorrow
    morning. It will rise to 7.6 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
    It will then fall tomorrow evening. It will rise to 7.4 feet
    early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    early Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
