Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
409 PM EST Thu Nov 20 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Mainly dry weather prevails through Friday, other than a slight
risk for some late day showers around the Vineyard and Nantucket.
Increasing risk for showers Friday night as a cold front crosses
our region. Not looking like a wetting rain is likely.

Minimum relative humidity values between 45 and 65 percent are
expected for Friday.

.OUTLOOK...Saturday through Thursday...

Dry weather returns late Saturday into Monday night as high
pressure builds into the region. Next chance for rainfall looks
to be sometime from late Tuesday into Thursday as a pair of low
pressures impact southern New England.
