Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
407 PM EDT Mon Oct 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...

The coastal low pressure affecting Southern New England will
continue to bring soggy conditions and strong northeast wind
gusts through Tuesday, although both rain and wind gusts will be
on the decrease as we move into Tuesday.

Minimum relative humidities are expected to be above 70 percent
for Tuesday.

.OUTLOOK...Wednesday through Sunday...

High pressure brings dry weather for most of the area through
late in the week, but it will also bring below normal
temperatures and gusty northwest winds. There may be some spotty
rain showers Thursday along the eastern coast. A warming trend is
then anticipated for the weekend.
