.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather is expected today with modest southerly winds. A cold
front brings showers and thunderstorms to much of Southern New
England on Friday, bringing a welcomed wetting rainfall.

Minimum relative humidities will be between 30 and 50 percent
today, and around 50 to 70 percent on Friday.

.OUTLOOK...Saturday through Tuesday...

An extended stretch of dry weather begins over the holiday
weekend and continues into the middle of next week. Slightly
below normal temperatures for the weekend, then with a modest
warm up to seasonable levels for early next week.
