Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
407 PM EDT Tue Jun 18 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid weather remains expected today through Thursday
with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 90s Wednesday and the
upper 90s on Thursday. Somewhat cooler readings near the coast
with Southwest breezes expected both days gusting to 20 mph. A
hit or miss shower or thunderstorm is possible but dry weather
prevails much of the time.

Lowest relative humidities will be in the 40 to 50 percent range
Wednesday and Thursday.

.OUTLOOK...Friday through Tuesday...

High pressure remains in control for the week. Persistent
southwest winds will support heat and humidity through Friday for
some but cooler air will arrive from the northeast. Low chance
for isolated showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday and
Thursday. Better chance for more widespread rain and
thunderstorms Friday and into the weekend.
