.DISCUSSION...
Mainly dry but a bit cooler today with onshore flow, especially
across eastern Massachusetts. Light N to NE winds this morning
shift SE to S by late today. A more widespread wetting rainfall
is expected tonight into Tuesday morning.
Minimum afternoon relative humidity values today will be on the
order of 45 to 65 percent, but a bit higher across the Cape and
Islands. Minimum relative humidity values Tuesday should be
between 75 to 95 percent.
.Outlook...Tuesday Night through Sunday...
An active pattern with unsettled weather at times in the Tuesday
night through Thursday time frame. Timing the greatest risk for
showers remains difficult at this point. However, the greatest
risk during this portion of the forecast for showers and
thunderstorms appears to be later Wednesday into part of
Thursday. The timing though may need to be refined.
Spotty diurnal showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday and
Saturday. Drier weather is more likely for Sunday.
