.DISCUSSION...
Dangerous heat and humidity continue today, with this afternoon`s
high temperature and heat index both hovering in the low-to-mid
90s. Forecast should be dry for the majority of the day, but
showers and thunderstorms will threaten later this afternoon and
this evening. While not everone will see a thunderstorm, those
that do may contain frequent lightning and gusty winds. Unfortunately
it is not possible to nail down precisely where these showers and
thunderstorms will pop up in situations like this. The window of
best chance will be generally 5PM to midnight.
