...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TUESDAY TO 7 PM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 104 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, central, eastern,
  northeastern, southeastern, and western Massachusetts, and
  northern Rhode Island.

* WHEN...From noon Tuesday to 7 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will not be much relief during the
  overnight hours...as Heat Indices will only drop into the 70s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

  Massachusetts, Central Middlesex MA, Southeast Middlesex MA,
  Western Norfolk MA, Western Essex MA, Eastern Franklin MA, Eastern
  Hampden MA, and Eastern Hampshire MA Counties.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events.
